nina ricci: shoes as form

I'm always intrigued when I come across a product – whether it be a pair of shoes, a car, a pencil, anything – that presents itself with equal parts form and function.

I suppose the latter trait could be debated in these nina ricci stilts from fall 2009. but whether you like them or not, you can't deny that they're creative and a work of art unto themselves. how do you suppose one walks in these things?!
