tacky or not tuesday: pierre hardy wedges

pierre hardy's summer 2011 wedges are cool because they're so geometric, and that flat footbed is pretty neat! I certainly like them better on an actual foot...

even so, I don't know...something about them sort of makes me shudder. tacky or not? I have to say tacky. do you disagree, dear readers?
