what's new wednesday: something different!

this week, instead of featuring a shoe, I thought we could take a look at the six fashion institute of technology students who were selected last week as contestants on the second season of FH Shoe Star, the country's first footwear design reality show. they'll have to get through a series of grueling challenges to impress big-name shoe brands, all while striving for the top prize: an associate designer position at brown shoe co. last year's winner, melanie maggio, is now a designer at nine west.
