I know I recently posted something about glittery shoes, but these patricia blanchet brogues (via modcloth) take the cake! and that silver satin ribbon is the icing...
when I was a kid, my family always celebrated christmas on christmas eve – the big meal, board games, movies on TV and – duh! – opening presents. (christmas day, by the way, was always sort of...lackluster in comparison.)
this year it will be no different, so I've been scouting around for some christmas eve shoes...even though it's only two days away! can you believe it?

'tis the season for giving, right? consider giving a pair of toms shoes to a loved one this year, and you'll actually be giving two people a pair of shoes – for every pair of shoes purchased, toms gives a pair to a child in need. their slogan is "one for one."
it all started in 2006 when american traveler blake mycoskie discovered that children in argentina had no shoes to protect their feet. mycoskie then created toms, and later that year, he returned to argentina with a group of family, friends and staff – and 10,000 pairs of shoes made possible by toms customers.
toms has also received support from high-profile celebrities such as keira knightley, cameron diaz and demi moore, as well as an aggressive internet marketing campaign. the company's shoes range from comfy flats to glittery slip-ons to wedges. prices range around $50, and think of all the good you're doing.

along with velvet, fringe and glitter, the patent leather shoe is perfect for all manner of holiday festivities. something about shiny leather says you're carefree, fun and ready to have a good time.

I find it kind of interesting funny that this heel from the brand irregular choice (via modcloth) is called the "words can't express heel." there's a lot...going on here, and I'm not sure it works. it almost appears as if the shoe is going to take flight any minute...
on the other hand, the red scallop quilting is sweet, and the use of alllllll those different patterns – from polka dots to sequins to plaid to stripes – is creative. you have to say it's creative.
tacky or not? verdict: surprisingly, not! though they're certainly not the most versatile shoes in the world...

flower away, my dear! shoes with textured flowers are everywhere. you don't mention your price range or exactly what kind of shoe you're looking for (flat, boot, sandal, etc.), but take a look at what we found from ruche, an online boutique with some great finds (nothing shown here is more than $100, either!):
